IT'S TIME TO SLOW DOWN

I guess you're wondering; what is she talking about "slow down"! Ask yourself are you moving too fast with the work you're doing. Are you moving too fast with the assignment God has given you? Are you moving so fast you are missing God's voice? Are you moving so fast you don't recognize God's voice? Are you moving so fast, you don't make any time for God? Are you moving so fast you don't have time for God, your heavenly Father?

Answering yes to one of these questions means it's time for you to slow down and get some things in order. Whatever you are doing in life, you should never be too busy for God. You should never put God last in your day or your priorities. This does not mean slow down completely, but it does mean you need to level yourself; level yourself starting with God first. We must always remember that God comes before any job, business, school, college, ministry, relationship, children, and even your spouse. If you are putting any of these things or people before God that's a big problem. God comes first, not last, middle or in between.

Whatever God has called you to do is designed for you, so to think or feel like you have to rush and do anything is a lie. If you're not in peace that's definitely a no, no. If you're not in peace that's a no, no. If you're rushing that's a no, no. God has not called none of us to rush and do anything so if you're rushing at your job, business/es, ministry etc. that is not of God, you're out of order. I had to learn this. "Rush for what"?

Let me give you all a couple scriptures that will help you.

Proverbs 19:2 (KJV) Also, the soul be without knowledge, it is not good, and he that hasteth with his feet sinneth.  Proverbs 21:5 (KJV) The thought of the diligent tend only to plenteousness; but of every one that is hasty only to want. Isaiah 28:16 (KJV) therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that beliveth shall not make haste. Psalm 46:10 (KJV) Be still and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. Psalm 37:7 (KJV) Rest in the Lord and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicketh devices to pass. Matthew 11:28-30 (KJV) Vome unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.

What does hasten means? To hurry, to move quickly, or to make something happen sooner. This not good, let us remember to slow down. Remember one of the fruit of the spirit is patience. Galatians 5:22-23 (KJV) But the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
